All participants will join us at 9.30am for coffee and bacon sandwiches, and to hear Nigel Puckrin talk about the stunning Red Kites that have made the Drewton Estate their home.

Those taking part in the walk will join our resident Estate Woodland Manager, Seth Crosswaite, and Tony Martin from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust for a guided stroll through the estate and off the beaten track into areas not usually open to the public. Seth and Tony know the estate well and can show you all manner of wonderful wildlife. The walk will end with a buffet picnic-style lunch in the Shooting Lodge at 1pm. Tickets for the walk are priced at £35 per person, and include breakfast and lunch.

Those who would like to take part in the beginners’ photography course will explore different areas of the estate with good photography opportunities. This is a chance to take photographs in the afternoon light, as well as the morning light. In addition to breakfast and lunch, they will round off the day with a Cream Tea at Drewton’s Farm Shop, during which representatives of Yorkshire Coast Nature will view and comment on their photography skills. Tickets for the beginners’ Photography Workshop are priced at £50 per person. Call 01430 425079 or ask in store for details.
